| Life.
What does it mean, what is it? I have no idea. To be honest, I don’t even like it. The truth is, life is actually crap. For anyone, no matter who you are. We live on Satan’s world, we live in sin… You can’t say that isn’t crap. Don’t get me wrong, some of the things in this world are beautiful. I look out my window and marvel at God’s creation. To me that is something awesome. That God created a world out of literally nothing, which got me realising again how great is our God. Some of the things in the world make us smile. But what I think, until we are standing in front of God and worshipping Him for eternity, life isn’t going to get any better. The only way it can, is through our relationship and trust in God. God knows all. He knows what you secretly do, He knows how you walk, how you talk, how you breathe. Of course He does. God’s timing is perfect. Everything that happens, good or bad is all in His timing and ways. We won’t ever understand or always agree with it, but God is in control. We need to trust completely in God, know that HE IS in control and that He wants the best for our lives. When we are going through the worst, going through crap, praise God. Let Him know how beautiful He is. Let Him know how much you love Him. Let your weaknesses become strengths. Now I know you’ve all heard this before, but there’s no harm in hearing it again. God’s wisdom surpasses all knowledge. God does things we don’t understand. God let’s bad things happen. God let’s love ones die… Why? We probably won’t ever know. And we don’t need to. God is God, He knows what He’s doing, even if we can’t understand. Our knowledge and understanding is absolutely pathetic compared to the wisdom of the Lord. To trust God completely is living wise. Romans 11:33 (NLT) - “33 Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!” How impossible it is to understand his ways. So how can we trust God, and live wisely? The Bible clearly states it’s what we need to do in Ephesians. Ephesians 5:15-17 (NLT) - “15 So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. 16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. 17 Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.” A start on living wise and trusting God, understanding that His wisdom is so great, Proverbs 9:10 says ”Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment” Fearing God is a step. Don’t worry if we aren’t in line with God’s wisdom. The beauty of God is that we can always repent and ask to help us and to make things right. Continue to soak in scriptures, read the word of God as often as you want. Don’t feel forced to, God doesn’t want it to be a routine, He wants a relationship. Wise living is something that grows by receiving the word. If we aren’t reading the word of God it is impossible to know His will. You can have all the knowledge of the Bible, but if you don’t apply it to your life than what good is it. People who boast about the scriptures and how they are a Christian but are not changing and growing and applying the word, James 1:7 “7 Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.'' Now that’s something to think about. This is just a start and a few thoughts that I had, and God is challenging me about being wise and applying the word even as I type this. Love you all. |
