i always had a bit of a spot for missy higgins... just, she's got a sort of warmth about her that goes past her ability as a musician...
other than that, i have nothing to contribute. |

She's actually really good.
(I've lost faith in female singers.) |

I think it applies to music as well. Not that I'm saying I like porn. |

While Chris and I were watching wrestling (and flicking channels for good music during) we stumbled upon a young and amazingly beautiful singer by the name of Cheyenne Kimball.
Chris got her album, and it is very, very good. She is very lyrically strong and her sound is a stronger style pop with a country sound rather than punk or machine which is a refreshing change on the pop scene. I'm very much over the whole pop musical scene turning more and more into a RnB direction with an overemphises on (yes i said it) Sex. Like I'm sure that its money for a girl to shake her grove thang and it has its place on our tv... but seriously when that type of thing leaks into the usually happy pure pop scene then i can't help but worry. Cheyenne really stood out to me because she was unique... Shes a young blonde that plays guitar. No grove thang, just guitar and sweet beautiful music. I highly recommend her to anyone who is open to try new things.
