I'm so sad right now, you guys wouldn't believe... my comp blew up not too long ago, so I've been without that. That made me very unhappy. Now, Candace has a tower, and I was like "YES!!! A Computer!!! I can finally play HL2, more stuff, etc... all the games I like!", and the computer's all "WRONG BIATCH! You can't even play Evil Genius without me lagging, cause of my shitty graphics card, memory, etc!" And I'm all "WHAT?!?!?!?!" (I went out last night and got Evil Genius and Fallout 1, 2 + Expansion, just to see if it would run them without lagging... also, I've always wanted Fallout). So yeah, I'm now stuck with this pile of shit... I'm thinking about taking my GFX Card out of my old one that blew up, and putting it in this one. Sound like a plan? That thing could run everything without a hastle... besides STALKER... didn't run that... but you know... *cough*.

Ha ha, you assume too much. I have only $400 saved up so far. Should have a new comp by February. Christmas presents, etc, cost a bit. Now that I'm working, everyone wants one. Also, a fool and his money are soon parted...

Ha ha, hey Neilson, I've beat Assassins Creed. Got it back from my mate yesterday, so I played it for about 10 minutes: Clocked it. The ending is mega-shit, but it's a good start to the next one. (There's gonna be a next one, according to the ending).

Portal is friggin brilliant.

This is probably one of the best games I've played in a while. It's not only good for gameplay, but it's filled with dark, witty humour, too. If you have a 360, or computer, I suggest you get this game, or atleast hire it out. It only took one sitting to beat, but it's a game you can play over and over. The best part is, it comes with HL2, the 2 "episodes", and Team Fortress 2. Well worth it.

One of the best reviews for Halo I have ever seen:

Amplification: I played Halo for about 3 minutes yesterday, and I couldn't handle it.
Chakra stares at her awesome glowy egg thing. 83
Chakra: what do you mean `couldn't handle it`? <_<
Amplification: I was like, "Nope. Sucks. Hate it. Not Real. -dickdickdick-"
Chakra: xD
Master Lucifer: does that mean fapfapfap?
Amplification: The jumping was like, "LOOK AT MEE I R ON MOON"
Chakra: Amp.
Amplification: Wut.
Master Lucifer: Here comes the scolding
Chakra: Master cheif is biologically advancedd.
Amplification grabs helmet
Amplification: LMAO
Chakra: He's aloud to jump high.
Amplification: Lmfao.
Amplification: Allowed.
Chakra's read the books. :I

I loled, i wasn't in the convosation, but i loled Razz

So, I finally get a new computer, right? And I check out THoIH! What the f*ck has been happening while I've been gone! NOTHING! Goddamn it people, am I the only real entertainment around here?!

That aside, I'm drunk right now, and speaking to Neilson, so blame this rant on him! Nice going! *cough*, anyway... I got a new computer, finally. Now, I know absolutely nothing about computers, so I'll give the info I know about it/was told. Most of the stuff on here are Gigabyte products. I've got 4 gig of Ram, getting more soon enough, should go up to about 8, 360-ish gig of space on the hard-drive, etc, etc. Good enough computer. So I'm back to playing games. YAY!

Well, I haven't got any new games, because I've been jobless for the past month, and, lucky for me, there have been no good games coming out in that time! So, I've finally played Fallout, and I have to say, it's a friggin awesome game. I installed in on my mates laptop, and we didn't stop playing until around 4 in the morning, when we realised we hadn't eaten since lunch-time, and he had work the next day/that day. It's extremely hard to explain, but I'll sum it all up in this next line: I'd rather spend the $100 on this game then most of the new crap that's been coming out.... and it's only about $20!

Another thing I'm doing now, since I have this sweet ass job, is buying a Wii, so get ready for some reviews about that, if I have time in between playing it and lurking. Also, I'm going to buy The Witcher with my next paycheck, because I've heard nothing but good things about that game, and I'm a total RPG nerd. Also, getting Spore when it comes out later this year, and very anxious for it. Looks like a game you could play for ages. I'm also contemplating the PS3... whether I should get it or not. The Pro's are: I'll have every new console... the cons are: It's a PS3. Ha ha. Also, if any of you Lad's/Lass's know anyone that's selling a Sega Mega System or Gamecube (with games, controllers, etc), give me a heads up. I'm looking for those bastards like crazy. Well, untill next time, catcha guys.

Holy shit, I can't believe I missed this game. If I remembered, it would have been at the top of the list. My first love:

COUNTER STRIKE (Any of them)

Counter Strike was one of my favourite games for years. By far the greatest Multiplayer game I've played... ever. I used to be on this for hours, non-stop. When Half-life 2 came out, with CS: Source, I installed Source, and played that first, and threw HL2 in the draw. I thought Source was the coolest because of the new physics. You could blast someone of a crate, and they'd crumble the whole way down. THEN YOU TEA-BAG THE FECKER!!! Ha ha. Good times.

The controls were simple, and I can say that with full confidence that everyone else will agree. The reason: My Grandmother bought it off me, and was better than me at it... bitch. Ha ha, joking, I love my Grandma, she's the one that introduced me to hardcore shoot-em up's.

One of my favourite past-times on that game was headshotting people with the starting pistol. It was just a huge insult to them. It's like: "Hey, you have an M16... BAM! HEADSHOT WITH A PISTOL MOTHERF@CKER!!!!" Made them feel like less of a person. It's true, did it to Donald, and he tried to beat me up. Ha ha.

All in all, the only problem I found with this game was the ability to use headsets, cause all you'd have is 12 year olds, whose voices are breaking, shreeking into the mic about "HAX!" and "FECKING QUEER!!! I'D KICK YOUR ASS IN THE REAL WORLD!".

That game is a piece of shit end of story. Its disgusting, it does not know how to play fast, it does not know that when you shoot someone in the foot it is not a headshot, the game is pathetic, its maps lack, its gameplay is poor and very slow, I could beat any CS player with my eyes closed, now for the grenades THEY SUCK FULLSTOP!, sof2 grenades will beat the crap out of any game, no fps can bring you nade spam like sof2 does its simple. Sof2 is perfect yes I'm bias who cares I'm going to flame you anyway nothing personal I just hate CS Smile

If a CS player played sof2 they'd get owned they do, just look at all those CS nubs who play me they get absolutely flamed I'll not only kick their arse in their own game but move it across to sof2 and they look like a nub who doesn't know the fire button. Now where else can I flame, oh yes sof2 you can throw knives, in cs you have little pissy jab it in ya contests, piss off. Sof2 you can strafe jump, boost, and lean all those little things that if you master you just pwn. Now for the gameplay honestly a game of sof2 in CS's own gametype demolition is just superior, a demolition round in sof2 on a public server is so fast paced, none of this im gunna camp your ass for 5 minutes, the round lasts for 2minutes if you lucky, then you head into a deathmatch and CTF server or even infiltration its all just run run run kill kill kill, oh there's strategy to it aswell, the maps in sof2 actually run fluidly their made for their gametypes, what does CS have to offer wow demolition gg with a bunch of shit maps. Now to the gore, oh I play cs I shot you in the head and you just died like a grandpa in his deathbed, seriously shoot someone in sof2 in the head their head explodes and pisses out blood all day long and you even get splatter on the wall behind, this applies to all limbs and the death animations at least they die nicely and sometimes painfully xD. Now to the community, most players who play CS live in an internet cafe and are keyboard heroes. I'm gunna own you with my hax bish ill come bash you cwunt etc. At least the current sof2 community isn't made up of a bunch of geeks. Fark its like 1am I'm going to bed, my advise install sof2 and say gg Smile Oh lastly teamwork actually applies in sof2 its not a one man party, I've seen a clan of nubs beat a good team simply because they'd practiced before hand and learnt the map.

I completely agree with your all stars post, (l) that game Smile

Nice, someone who doesn't agree with everything that comes out of my mouth. (Not Sarcasm, after a while it feels like you guys are sheep... no offence).

Also, another review:

Dark Messiah: Might and Magic.

This game is pretty sweet. There are a good selection of weapons, spells, etc. The graphics are pretty sweet, the controls are pretty good. Online play sucks balls, cause you can't ever find a server with under 250 ping. The story line also really sucks you in.

You're all "Oh my god, what's going on, visions, etc! What's this demon-type girl thingy that's apparently inside me?!", also followed by "Hey, that chick that's helping me out (Not the one inside me), is pretty hot, and powerfull, and wants my penis! This is totally awesome!", then the demon inside's all "She's a skank! Leave her be! You and I are more alike! <Insert>", then it's all "BAH!!!! TWIST!!!! EVERYTHING YOU KNOW IS WRONG!!!!"

I would recommend this game just for it's twist. You're all playing, then BAM! I nearly shat my pants.

Anyway... the combat system is sweet as too. It's run through HL2, so it's using the Source engine, which means beautiful colours, blood, etc. The models are done brilliantly, too. And that's always a good sign. The selection of weapons it gives you is good, too. Daggers, swords, bow and arrow, magic and last, but not least, your foot. That's right, your foot. One of the best attacks you can do is kick opponents. You kick them into spikes, off cliffs, down stairs, into other enemies, into crates, tables, etc. It's awesome.

I wouldn't recommend buying it though... probably just hire it out, or borrow it off a mate.

Not so much horror survival... Though some of the bosses could be considered that. It's more or less oblivion with more killing and less... oblivionness.

I didn't know it's based on Magic though... I thought it was based on the HOMM universe.

Might be. It says it's from Magic, but I haven't found one thing I really recognize from the card game..... not that I play the card game or anything...... *cough*.... anyway... I got paid today, but got fired yesterday.... ha ha, long story, and I was thinking "What game can I get that's new and good?" And long story short, I got The Witcher... should be a review up later on today, or sometime tomorrow.

yeah, counterstrike grenades are a bit lame, the only way you can actually kill someone outright is in source, if you throw the grenade right at their head, dealing five damage, before the grenade explodes right at their feet.

rubbish. grenades that don't kill you outright even if you're standing on them is just rubbish.

the only big thing i like about CSS was the ability to calibrate your mouse sensitivity by popping cans with a Five-seveN, with the physics having the can jumping around trying to avoid your bullets. sensitivity is good when you can empty a magazine fast with a good hit rate, or bouncing grenades away with shotguns.

a played a game at matt's place recently called crysis. physics are hilarious, i picked up a drill press and started throwing it around, killing as many as three gooks per shot, even blowing up cars.
