I was actually thinking of doing like an hour to 1 1/2 hours of just non-stop music one night a week, mid-week, to stick with everything during a school week, so it isn't just a weekend thing for people. One of the main things about youth that I enjoy is the music, so why not get more of it and more often? it's better with a huge crowd instead of just by yourself (for the praise anyway). And after Saturday night I'm sure everyone wants more as well instead of just 4 songs.
And since it's a music night (maybe we can include testimonials as well?), we can try out new songs, see what people think about them, what style of music people want for it, etc.
But still have to talk to Vicki about the idea, I'd love to see it happen, and I'm sure other people would as well. |
