Umm.... There is a difference between asking yourself and not knowing infact what it is exactly. In true honesty, how can you answer something if you're not even sure what it is or how it feels? Sure, there are things you can say, but... in the end, its not the 'criteria' which makes up the love, its the passionate desire and what not... Thats what I think, so, you can't base love on thoughts. So, in a way, there is no point in asking yourself the question if you're unsure on what it even is.... because there is no point in saying it if you're unsure.

not really that concerned, but there's already another thread about what love is... it goes over it in depth, then it goes over it in depth again, and then you get a few people saying slightly different things and saying that they agree BUT what about...
i hate that thread... it would boil down to about one page if you cut out all the repetition. |

Yeah, and I am kinda tired of hearing people's opinions about love anyway.
To put it simply - I know what I feel, I like how I feel, and no one can tell me what I feel is wrong. They can feel what they want, and I'll do the same.

Love is not a question of whether your in love or not love can be many things.
Love can be a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person. Love can also be felt through things you enjoy doing eg I love writing. Thats the dictionary version of it.
As far as I'm concerned you can't go blab around oh those two don't love each other they just like each other. You can't feel what someone else feels or enjoys. Everyones different. Everyone responds differently. Different People respond differently. Different people show their love in different ways. Love is shown in infinite ways.
So I think this thread is practically useless. If someone says they love somebody I'd believe them until lust gets into it. But thats another matter for another day. |

Exactly. Usually when someone gives relationship advice, it does more harm then good.
I'm getting sick of all of these love threads as well... Everyone keeps saying the same things over and over. It was fun at the start but the problem is a lot of us arn't growing emotionally in this area, a lot of us are staying put over so many months so when another thread comes up, we say the same things. I liked what Ben said, personally i think that you've grown leaps and bounds over the last few months. Same with you Chris.
But seriously... if we're going to keep making threads like this... please have something new to say. We've heard it all before.

Doesn't mean that you should follow their advice, I can't think of any examples or anything at the moment, I agree with mostly what people have said. But, I guess people trying to give advice, have a different.... fuck it... they shouldn't care......
