yeah, but you get hypocrites in every religion... in every way of life, actually...
for example, pretty much every 'moral vegetarian' is a hypocrite, simply due to the impossibility of eating anything without harming an animal... you eat vegetables that come from a field, the field used to be a wildlife habitat until it was bulldozed. rodents move into the field, they must resort to eating crops to survive. the field is reaped, and so are all the cute little furry critters in it. now if i could choose between a clean hole in the head, and hours of broken, twisted agony, (death by farm equipment) i know which way i'd wanna go...
but off of pop-culture morons, onto extremism... ever hear of the westboro baptist church?
other favourite slogans of theirs: "thank god for IEDs" - improvised explosive devices - "god hates fags", "god blew up the troops", and the ever popular, "god hates fag troops"...
there are hypocrites, pharisees if you will, in every religion; though it almost seems to me as though the folks that made 'pharisee-ness' famous, the jews, appear to have escaped this...
i would have been a jew if i wasn't a christian, but then, i would have been a goth... *shudder* |

i was trying to draw attention to the existance of hypocrites, pharisees, in religions other than islam.
i mean, you hear alot about our imam this, and alcolaley that, but you don't hear about the 'quiet ones'... the ones that just march on.. |

Yeah. I know what you mean. As the founder of that Christian Grind Webzine (I no longer run it, I passed it on) and am in constant contact with people that are going out of their way doing the will of God by outreach. There is this one dude I know and I regard really highly by the name of Broc from Eternal Mystery. He lives in Louisiana, USA. He went to a church once, (he is an ex Satanist. I mean, really against Christianity) and some woman came to the church (which I must say was fully racist. didnt allow blacks to worship there) spoke falsehoods about Satanism and the Occult. She also said that anybody who questions her message about Satanism has Satan living inside of them. (so Broc didn't say anything, even though he KNEW she was talking trash).
So yeah, I can go on for ever and a day about this... Sad isn't it?
