Ok, so this is a part 2 to the youth post last night, I didn't want to fill up that thread so I'll do it here instead. Part 1 can be found here.

Thoughts
So I've had a while to think about last night, remember a little bit more about what happened.

Another point to the prayer - Vicki spoke about me getting a girlfriend, said a few things about His will, that answered something that's been bugging me since last week.

Something that came up with Ryan on MSN. When I said "my gift" in the prayer section, I meant it as the gift that I've been given to use.

I've been hyper since last night, a few doubts coming every now and then but nothing sticks. Had praise music going the whole time I'm at home (WE WILL PRAISE YOU!!).

Thanks and Compliments
Ok, I hate typing so knowing me this will probably be short, but I'll try and get everyone.

Penny - We never really spoke before you became a youth, but since then it's just spiralled up to the point I'm proud to call you my best friend. There's an innocence about you, you're a light in this world, and it's growing brighter every day. I know I've been an idiot about things in the past, and I thank you for still being there for me. I've learnt a lot in the times that we've talked, and I've become a better person because of it. I love you so much and thank you.

Shane - I've known you since I started coming to Vision (That would be about 9 years by now). And in that time I've only seen you be serious a few times. And last night was +1 to that. I saw you praying, crying, and even that talk we had. Thank you so much for that prayer last night, it touched me so much. You're a great person, I may not agree with your relationship actions at times, but that doesn't change who you are and who you're turning into, you're going to go far. (@).

Ryan - Indeed we met on Hamachi, before that I had heard a bit about you. Since that day wondering who the heck you were we've shared a lot, advice given both ways. We haven't spoken much lately, but I don't love you any less. You're a great mate to have around, and even though I was sick of you by the end of the week you were here, I would do it again any time. I'll see you down here for PS'08 you sexy thing.

Elliot - Before a month or two ago you were just another person at youth, but since then we've gone on adventures, had talks, shared stories and you prayed with me at YA on Friday. You have so much wisdom, and always ready to share it with anyone, and I thank you for what you've shared with me. Maybe one day I can do the same for you.

Wilkins - I can't remember when we first met or started talking, but since then I've learnt what a great person you are. At youth camp we were talking for nearly the whole first night, and since then the respect I have for you has multiplied. You're a very funny guy, keep that with you, the world needs humour. Thank you for praying for me last night, I'm sure that started a lot for me then.

Eliza - Peeeaaaa! Razz You've grown so much since I met you, Vicki wasn't kidding when she said it would be quick. Congratulations for last night. I'm hearing so much good coming from your life, and this is just the start. I'm sorry I didn't pray anything out loud for you last night, I wanted to so much but the words just wouldn't come out. You're very talented with your music and videos, with more practice I'm sure I'll see more of you in the future. You've gotten this from lots of people the past week, but I love you as well.

Josh - I don't talk to you that much, but seeing you at youth the past few years you too have grown. I'm not sure what else I can say about you, but keep on keeping on Cool

Robbie - Never talked to you much before the last few weeks, but you're a cool guy, and perhaps the strangest person I know (Good thing!). Seeing you at Youth Alive was great, and you going up front was amazing. There's more for you yet, you're going to get the feeling you want. It took me a while for mine, just keep at it.

Elle - We haven't talked much lately, and I miss that, you're a great girl. You've got a good head on your shoulders, and you've been a great help to me. Thank you.

Chris - Didn't think you'd be in here did ya? We may not have the same relationship as the other people here, but you too have a good head on you. You're always ready to share your opinion. I'm sorry the camp thing didn't stick, maybe you'll have a change of heart one day, maybe not, but that doesn't change the fact you're a good guy.

Ben - I don't talk to you much either, but you're a good person to have around. I only really know you as a gaming buddy, and that sucks, I want to see the real Ben on the inside, see what makes him tick.

Adam - Another unexpected add to the list. I want to thank you for Thoih. Not much more I can say about you since we don't talk that much. Hopefully that can change in the future.

Steve, Vicki and Shusy - You're not on here, but I still want to thank you for a great youth group. Without you guys I wouldn't have the friends I have now or be who I am today.

Everyone - You guys are an awesome bunch of people, all ready to stand by their opinions and beliefs. I'm always here for all of you if you ever need anything. I love you all dearly and expect to see you become the best person you can be.

I'm sorry I missed anyone, you're either not on Thoih or I don't talk to you enough to think of you off the top of my head.

Until next time... Elfy out Cool

Ok, just a small post, not much to say.

The other day I had a talk to Petra (Ben's mum) for a while... She reminds me of Vicki at times. But she came by later with two books for me: The God Chasers and... another one, haven't started reading it yet, but Chasers is a really good book, started reading and a few pages into it I was getting shivers, it's pretty well multiplied the hunger I had before.

I bought myself a Hillsong CD, Jesus Is for those who haven't heard already, haven't stopped listening to it, even before I bought it. It will be at youth tomorrow and will have a high chance of being one of the planned songs for the marathon/holiday playlist. Replacing The Stand ftw!

That's what the past week's been really... Sunday night will be commented on when I write out the transcript.

Tomorrow I'm going into Milton, getting two hard drives, get my PC back up and running. Will finish God Chasers on the train, Jesus Is album playing from PDA. Youth P&W tomorrow, expecting a powerful and glory filled night.

Saturday I'm hoping to get together with a girl, depends what she's doing.

First week of the holidays will probably be slow, got schoolwork to catch up on. Second week is HKK/Marathon/Shrek 3.

Expect more updates after tomorrow night and when I get my tape player hooked up to the PC.

Elfy out.

Back. Front, Side, whatever Smile

Last night, personally it was disappointing, but hey! 5 (?) people got slain. Not thinking about it much today which is good. One thing that's bugging me though... when I was getting prayed for, i had what felt like 5 people on either arm and Norman trying to push me at one point... If it's going to happen then it will, STOP HELPING IT! Razz

PC notes: Finally up and running, hasn't crashed yet. Looks like I was right saying Windows was rooted at one point. Webcam also in the process of being set up, I'll do it when I get a request for my sexy face.
EDIT: Bugger, PC's crashing again, sent an email to umart asking them what they can do.

Musical note: Hillsong London! Youth in two weeks! Be there!

Sales: I've got 2 512mb sticks of DDR ram that may or may not be working. IDE drives (80gb, 60gb, 40gb and a few 20gb's). A LiteOn 48x12x48 CD burner. A LAN card (PCI). A sound card. 2 x Geforce 4 MX440 (AGP, will not probably not run most games).

Prices will be bartered, ALL profits will go towards the church or charity. Will install parts for free. Contact if interested.

So my post was a big plug. Oh well Razz

Don't feel disappointed, Matt. God's not going to leave you hanging, just don't feel disappointed. Anyway, I have a kind of theory type thing about all this, I'll tell you on MSN if you ask.

And lolz about Norman trying to push you, I don't think he was. When I was praying for a few people I was putting my hand down pretty hard, I was getting pretty emotional about it all. I don't think he was trying to push you down, lol Razz .

Quote of the day: "lets all eat ice cream and cry about how our boyfriends dumped us and do each others hair!!!!"

So I'm back, confusion from this afternoon aside I'm rather settled. I think I fixed my pc tonight (5th time lucky?) so I'm surfing around trying to make it crash.

Anyone with a DS, or fairly recent pc (or even DOSBox), I urge you to try the Anno games. Overly complex Settlers, and I'm loving it Very Happy.

Went to Penny's last night, didn't go as bad as I thought it was going to. Watched LotR and ripped it to pieces. Turned it into a youth movie where we're walking from Elliot's quiet place to Vicki's bathroom, going to the Ippy library and mall along the way, possibly find a way to cross the Bremer without a bridge as well. And in all seriousness, I DO want to do this one weekend or something, just film the whole thing and upload it on YouTube/burn to a DVD for the next sleepover, shame no one else it up for it.

After I got home it was time to go to Maccas, spent some time there, saw Jaqui (sp?), Elliot and Norman argued about faith, I got prayed for (Norman was catcher, he ran off!). Somehow I ended up sleeping at Elliot's that night, discussed more about my "desert" as it's now known.

So yeah. Mixed up times for youth, check your emails instead and never ask me again Razz

Other than that, life's rather boring. Nothing to rant about, Leah will be around next weekend, that means you'll be there with me Shane Razz, been playing DOS/MAME games when I haven't had Anno going. All rather boring really.

Elfy out, next blog probably after Thursday.

YES TOTALLY! And then we can all sit in the corner and do each others nails and when we're finished we can take photos with a webcam and totally upload it to myspace! Everyone knows the cool kids do that.
Oh yeah. I kind of ate the ice cream Embarassed .

I watched the Two Towers today, and kept thinking about me as Gandalf, you as the princess and Shane as the kingy dude. Haha, kept me amused for a long time.

*notes down to remember who the heck we had cast last night*

We actually ended up figuring out who was who, and where we could do certain parts of the movie, it's just a matter of getting EVERYONE together, with a video camera, and patience, I know what we're like left to our own devices Razz
