not only a stupid name for dirty skanks, the stupidest season ever invented.
i could go one about bloody summer for ages, it's just so fucking pointless. it's just so damn hot, humid, dry. the lawn grows too fast, if it grows at all. insects are all over the bloody place, i get four or five flies buzzing around me on the way to school every morning, at head height, every morning. they never land on me, except on my bag. i mean, if they're not gonna fucken land why are they buzzing around pissing me off for? i'd be pretty happy just to cover my face in honey, have them eat it off me and leave me alone, but no... they just buzz around, giving me the shits. scumbags. then there's bloody mosquitoes, also bullshit because of the buzzing. just fucken land, fill up on blood, and let me fucken sleep... but nooo, they gotta fly around your ear, infuriating you for at least forty minutes before they land, and sometimes they don't land at all... pure shit.
the heat... some people will say, 'oh, but it's nice when you walk from the heat into air-con.' that's bullshit, it's like saying it's fun to electrocute yourself for the relief that comes when the power is turned down... bullshit... fucken, nina's place. i was in bed, sweating enough to stick myself to the bed (sorry about that, by the way) and it was only 5am.
what. the. fuck.
smell... people always smell so much worse in summer, and if i get a owie, the heat and humidity boosts the chance of infection. infection is bullshit. and coz summer is so shitty, i spend lots more time being bored as fuck because it's too hot to do anything. so i spend more time playing with knives, sharp things, which means more accidently hurting myself. summer hates me.
there's an extra two hours of fucken daylight in summer too, it's shithouse. nighttime kicks arse, so much better everything, except danger of vampires... fucken vampires... and nighttime in winter means dressups in dark long sleeves and being invisible... which is awesome. almost as awesome as daytime in summer is shitty.
the clothes... i can wear whatever i want in summer, coz i'm so fucking tough, but i prefer a flanno, because flannos are awesome. now you can't do that in summer... too fucking hot... beanies, mittens, blue socks, wearing a shirt underneath your uniform, all awesome things you can't do in summer, because as everyone knows by now, summer is shit.
maybe... summer would be alright if it'd fucken storm a bit more, or even rain. but it doesn't even fucken have weather anymore, except for FUCKEN HOT!!!
and... there's the simple pleasures aspect of summer... seeing your breath, cuddling, drawing near to fire, that sort of stuff. stuff you don't do in summer because it's shit. i hate summer, fucking hate it. when i'm rich i'm gonna have myself cryogenically frozen through summer, just so i don't need to experience all the shittiness... fuck, if summer was a person, i would kick it's arse, then i'd bury it, dig it up, cremate it, nuke it, and shoot it into the sun, just to make sure it's dead, because i hate summer... |

Well said. I believe our Mitten sales will go up once the glorious winter arrives. I also hate the idea of summer, although the excuse as "Is it reall this late already?" seems to work in summer due to the light haxing us. Which is really a bad thing. Although this type of summer, right now, is perfect. Go for a walk around outside now (7:30), the temperature is perfect. But thats about the only half decent thing about summer.
I can't wait until winter, I can't wait until I can light a fire and just sit in front of it for hours on end. Or being able to get close to Debbie and not worry about how hot it is or how smelly I am. Also, I want a flanno, mine has gone a.w.o.l, I suspect mum threw it out a few years ago.
I really miss the "Severe storm" warnings for summer, sure, we might get them every now and again, but we never get the bloody storms though.

summer blows... you smell and get sunburnt and grass is dry and shitty and everything is so bloody BRIGHT! phooken skanks come out in their skimpy bikinis.. makes me sick.... not bad for the blokes though.... perves
winter rocks also cos i can wear my jacket... that thing is awesome.. never been washed... im so proud
and yeah... my room definately is the worst place to be in summer... nice and warm in winter though |
