I'm not sure why, but I'm just really interested about this kind of thing. Storys, experiences, it all intrigues me.

i'm not sure why i came to christ, other than fear of hell... there was something else that convinced me that christ was the way, i can't remember. might have had something to do with norman, penny...
but anyways, since then i've had a number of experiences that sort of 'confirmed' it for me... i got slain in the spirit, that was The End of Doubt, and then there's the amazing tuesday arvo story and the nasty business with nina, those just confirmed the whole thing even worser.
i'm getting to the point where i'm noticing little miracles and gifts pretty much every day... i guess they were there before but i never noticed them... because god "sends the sun to shine on the righteous and the unrighteous."
then there's combat... i wanted combat, christianity had it, and has it, and i love it. i love the sound of the shells whirring over my head, the sound of dirt clods plinking off helmets, the reassurance of comrades striding confidently aside me, the chaos of a charge, and the thrill and glory of victory... (chills at word victory)
edit: my mother, stories she told me, little coincidences she experienced, some of them really startling... among them being my mother holding an intercessor's meeting specifically gathered to pray against the powers of witchcraft and sorcery, before the meeting starts, my little brother (who owes the name michael to my mother's encounter with an angel) walks in and says flatly, 'they're coming.', and walks out... later the women of the meeting find out that there is an international convention for all kinds of witchcraft things happening in a system of parks 500meters or so away from their house in three or four days. |

hmm well i got into this becuase of my sister and penny and bronson
my sister because when she was in grade 2 she went to girls brigade and im like ooh i wanna go to girls brigade and mum said umm maybe boys brigade when youre older and im like whoot and boys brigade is based on christianty not too deep or anything but it all helps and then penny and bronson wrere some of my best friends last year and i kept hearing about this "youth gruop" so i decide to come along one night and i got smacked around soo badly for it -hard frisbee in the eye slipping and killing my self on the lino then getting smaked in the face with a doge ball but i had a great time and i kept on coming then 1 time i showed up to the early prayer mettings and it was a little bit intimadating and i didnt show up again for it but then at camp it opened my eyes a lil bit but it sent me on the way to being who i am now and all of it helps lots  and then the reassuracnce the other night was great tottally restored my faith because i was getting iffy about god then i prayed heaps more and bam its soo great knowing god hees like the coolest person i know i dont know what i would have done with out him(probably lots and lots of dumb things ) yay god is great |
