Well tonight, something really special happened in my life. As a lot of you know I have been around the church community for pretty much all of my life. This has its good and its bad points. The good part is that you can learn more of God's word and whatnot, and the bad part is that (ask Shane) this becomes routine and takes on the role of "religion" instead a thing of life. The latter took its effect. For many years I have yearned for something new, something huge, something spectacular.

I have seen over the years, many things happen to other people in the way of miracles and deliverances, but none of this has happened to me. I have always wanted God to do something huge for me in my life. Tonight it happened.

Tonight I realised a couple of things. That you don't need to see money fall from the sky to see God manifest Himself to you and do something great for you. It can be something small. Or so it seems. God has pin pointed to me tonight a lot of things over the years that seemed small but were indeed big. For example: We are buying our first home, it may not seem like much, but we are indeed breaking the poverty cycle within our family Razz .

I asked Norman and Elliot to pray for me (I used to be hesitant) and when I did ask I felt that "something" came over me. And when they actually prayed for me, I had a thought of falling, just because I could... you know, take advantage of the situation. But when that thought left I fell. I felt in that instant that everything accumulated and piled on my spirit over the 15+ years of church was lifted. No resentment. Nothing. And when Vicki and Steve started to pray for me they mentioned things about me and my heart and how it has been shattered over the years by numerous events. That bought tears to my eyes, because of the truth. Then after that a "feeling" came like it was healed. That everything that happened in my life, what I did, and what happened did not affect me/ matter any more. It's like when you get an umbilical cord and cut it to separate a baby from a mother. I am the baby and the past was the mother. Separated.

I waited all those years for something like this and now I got it, it feels great. And I feel that I have been given this at this time for a reason. I don't know why, but I don't question it.

So there you go...

Well time for another blog I guess

Today is titled CBF

Yeah, really.... Today has been really boring. The only exciting thing was a punch up on the AFL on TV.

Enjoy your day

Adventuring to a new land

Well today I feel like hopping on an old wooden vessel and looking for undiscovered territory. Listen to Turisas Razz.

Today has been pretty grim so far. Chris, Ben and I sat around with Petra talking about a lot of God related subjects today. It really spoke a lot of volumes to me. It really did. Petra is a wise woman, people should listen to her.

Anyway. I'm going to post else where. Enjoy your day

25 June

Today is a special day for two reasons Razz Today is Big Boy Waltersss's birthday!!! Very Happy Very Happy Happy birthday Walters.

Today is special day for another reason, today marks the first annual GET OFF ELIZA'S BACK DAY! The whole notion of taking useless swings at Eliza is getting quite old here. In particularly you Adam. I have seen you take swings at Eliza for no good reason at all. Sure, you might not like her, but dude get off her back with these stupid insults that do no good. Really, is there a point in all this? Sure she might be a bit dilusional, but hey, so am I, so are you, so is Shane. Heck, we all are dilusional, and to rip in to Eliza for it is to rip in to me about it. Eliza, she is my sister, and I will not see her pointlessly insulted like this, no matter if she is contrary to the way you think. Adam, I value you as a good mate, but dude are these insults necessary?

Now to Ollie for the weather. Ollie? ITS COLD!!!

Thanks Ollie.

(sorry, just showing how stupid it looks to make useless stabs, i love you Wilkins!)

And Happy Birthday Walters! Very Happy

Thanks Wilkins.
I'm not sure how I can elaborate on it. You've said it all pretty much.
I really can't see a point to it.
If you don't like me, fine. Just be civil.

You win Smile Because you remember.

But hey Wilkins, if you think its a top notch thing to be rude and selfish, (like some people), shit, just wont you save a seat for me on the bandwagon, because I would sure as hell like to ride it with everyone else. You seem to have thought it okay when everyone else was bagging out steve, or lukas or even walters at some stage (excuse my laziness with capitalisation) so what is the difference here? You expect me to change my ways for no seemingly good reason at all?

Wilkins wrote:

But its perfectly excusable for Eliza to be mis-understood because thats right "ohh, thats random...must be funny then", I say you get off Robbie in this instance because I understood him.

So, what I say is you are doing exactly the same thing but are neglecting to care about the fact that you could possibly be doing the same thing.

I say stfu.. I'm going to call that as an attention stunt and I sure as hell hope you get it... Good work there.

Wilkins, you're a good mate too... but your bitter insults and relentless attacks on some people... same thing.

It was not an attention seeking thing. It was the best I could come up with at the time Razz

With Robbie's severe lack of grammar and punctuation skills (or seems so) it is bloody hard to understand him. So, why don't we bring back Reece with his randomness and his lack of grammar? Because I understood Reece. Same thing.

Well what if there were a lot of pointless attacks on you? Just asking to see what you would do. There is a difference between what how you say you would react and how you do/will react.

The difference here is that I've atleast apologied to them for it and when I was doing it I consistantly told them I was kidding. And it seems that you are being nothing but heartless.

I call bullshit. I feel that everything you said in that last sentence has almost contradicted the ways of "matty wilkins" to keep an image up of some sort, I hope you have fun masking yourself because it doesn't particularly look like it from here.

Hey, all I am doing is asking a question. And it may appear to you that I have contradicted the ways of "matty wilkins". How have I done this?

adam, even though what wilkins says is contradictory to his past performance, the contradiction doesn't affect the validity of his current opinion.

opinions can't be truly validated OR invalidated. which kind of sucks for someone trying to invalidate someone else's opinion while simultaneously putting out their own that a certain young lady needs the shit kicked out of her at every opportunity.

Today has been kinda boring. Although I learned something pretty important at church today: You have to live in truth and not fact. The truth of that God is almighty and powerful, rather than the fact that us humans are pitiful. If we look at our pitifulness then we won't try and achieve anything. Truth stands for eternity and facts change. God is creator is the truth. I am 17 year old is a fact, and it will change (although subject to death and other parental frustrations).

Today, I officially have no burnt or downloaded music. I snapped all my downloaded and illegally burnt music.

Dude, you know how hard it was! I was about to cry when I saw my all time favourite tracks getting snapped to nothing Crying or Very sad. But, I shall reunite with them one day, starting Christmas time when I buy some Mortification memorabillia. This is how it was supposed to be.

Sorry about my poor post up there ^ I was kicked off the computer but let me make it up to you...

People always complain that nothing is happening in their life religiously, 'i have the passion for it, but im not getting anything.' The problem is that its all you you you, you're not really doing anything to deserve it are you? You're looking for that breakthrough but still you keep up that roadblock. I know that if i personally want to take this stuff to a new level, I first gotta go out of my way and go hunting for it. And then I've got to cut down on the wrestling.

It's not easy, but I have a feeling that it's getting in the way. Wilkins, it was a bit different with you but you cleansed yourself of all of the things that you know were wrong and getting in the way with what you wanted. If you know you're doing something wrong and keep doing and keep wondering why you're not getting that breakthrough then you are foolish.

Wilkins, I wondered what was up last Thursday but when you said that you were having a talk to 'him' I knew that you were on the road to something good. I know that losing all of music would be one of the hardest things you could do and I respect you big time for that. You're on the right track, keep at it! You're the good example that we all need.

Yeah, that's it. I read Mark chapter 7, verses 14-24. That spoke to me a lot. That's why I didn't worship on Thursday. Although I got a lot of stuff done inside, and I kinda failed.

I saw Robbie on Thursday worshipping, and I felt strongly to go up to him and tell him that "God loves you Robbie". But I didn't. I did feel crap for it, disobeying God like that.

... now to today's blog.

Thursday 3 July

A repeated stabbing and a good heart

I went to Riverlink today with Aimee Griffiths, although she came like two hours after I got there. I caught up with Candace, Emily Dwyer and some of their Ipswich High friends. They seem like a good bunch. I left them, and went to JB- HiFi. There was so much good music in there. They have all of Virgin Black's albums for a good price. Razz. They had two Mortification albums, Erazing the Goblin and Brain Cleaner (I already have Erazing... signed too). I was wasting time, and I looked through to see if I could spot any other good bands. I came by Suffocation, Skinless, Zyklon, Cannibal Corpse, Carcass and other such bands. I was really freaking out, because they are secular bands, and the temptation to buy them was immense. So I left.

I went around to other stores, caught back with Candace etc, got me a cheeseburger from McDonalds. I walked back, and went to JN Hi-Fi again. I noticed I was looking at the secular stuff again. It was hard not to buy them. So I left again... Some time passed by walking around the stores and Aimee decided to rock up lol.

We walked around, spent a bit of time at the food court. Nearlly made her throw up her food by laughing. We walked around, went in fashion stores Embarassed. Made her bust up laughing in them too. Riverlink got boring as hell. So we went back to JB- HiFi, got Brain Cleaner (I thank God I did). 22 dollars aswell Razz

We went to go get her bank card from her bank funnily enough. We spent the rest of the time around in the dodgy mall place. It's a ghost town. We went around to a music store. She wanted to get a scratchie. She gave me a dollar to get a dollar scratchie, then won 2 bucks. We went to Woolworths, and talked to a staff dude about chocolate, bought some stuff. Went to the counter, then the dude that served us was a homosexual lol. He sounded soft. Both Aimee and I were tempted to laugh there and then. But we saved that for after we got out.

We wasted like 20 minutes, then went to PriceLine. I was a cat and I got killed because I was curious. I played with some hair foam stuff, broke the spray thing, put it back on and white foam crap went everywhere Shocked.

We then decided to leave. She had to catch some bus, seeing as though it was dark, I waited with her. Good thing I did, cause some black teen guys asked her for some cash so they could buy marijuana. They left, then about 10 minutes later the bus came. We said our byes. The bus left and I left to catch the train.

There you go. That's my day. Amidst all that God told me to give up Full Metal Racket. Dude, that's going to be hard. But I'm sure I can get there.
