yeah, i wa once told a story about how these missionaries in papua or something went around, miming that they were holding buckets or cups of water, and then they would mime tipping said bucket over people, or even whole groups of people, and they'd all just get slain... that's what i was thinking of when i wrote that.
imagine it though, you're just sitting in a group of friends, and this bloke comes up holding an invisible bucket, next minute you're laid out. how great is our god, seriously?
edit: yeah, cute. i get the feeling 'liza's gonna be almost unbearably so tomorrow.

I've been following this since the beginning and gosh its been amazing seeing the development, its been up and down, VERY up and down  But everything happens for a reason! Its all been for this and by gosh with all of our prayers... they've all been answered!
You'll always ALWAYS have us for you. This isn't something that you go alone. Its you, all of your friends to look after, protect and support you, and God. We have such a great group, we really do. All of the support that we give eachother. I know that i say this all of the time, but i love you guys.
Everything thats happened with me, you (whoevers reading this), Chris and Eliza in particualr as well, this couldnt of all happened without you great people. We've supported eachother and kept the faith, the fire alight and by gosh this is a ride that i am never getting off.
Its been a great night, a great weekend, its been a good year all round and its barely begun. I look forward to the next steps in whatever the heck is going to happen next...
We'll be with eachother with this
And God will be with us every step of the way.

Yeah you guys are a pretty rad group I agree there. I really liked going with you's to planetshakers so I'm probably doing it again this year. It was hell funny, Shane, Ben, Wilkins will know why it was funny.
So yeah. Even though I've only met half of you once, or never...I still think you are all awesome.

gahh at youth camp when we had the 2 hour worship sesh, i was praying for more to be saved and it has come! i love EVERYONE HERE! you are all soo good, this is the only topic ive read from start to finish cause its so interesting and such a great story of gods power. he is the mightiest of all. i cant wait to see how god uses u ezelda.
shane i also can tell god is using u, and is going to keep using you in so many great and mighty ways. same with all of you. you are all in gods army now we must fight. for god!!!!

I was doing devotional readings this morning.
And It was about being spiritually armed/defensive in this battle. Your first peice of equipment is your Faith. It said if you have any doubts to give them over to Jesus because He can remove all doubts. It then went on to say, to be spiritually aware and active, our relationship with God cannot be asleep. Like if you were in a basketball game, if you are playing defense you cannot just stand there...you have to be moving and guarding.
We need to be moving, but in order to do so we have to have a healthy relationship with God. Which means spending some time with God daily.

i could talk to youse about spiritual warfare all day.
first of all, defence is easy. god kits you out in ephesians flavoured riot gear, and away you go. the fun part is when you get to do the attacking, because satan (not stan as certain typos would have you believe) has spent so many years dishing out shit, why should it go unanswered?
god gave me a M1 carbine, and a radio. the radio is to call in airstrikes... those are the best. but they only mostly let you have one when they're ready, there used to be alot of friction between the army and the air force. some of us are still getting over it... |

I like to think as satan as something insignificant (he is). When we worship God, we apply the baseball bat satan's head and repeatedly strike until there is some mushy stuff on the ground.
The whole Christian nice thing is over done... As I said, we need to be brutal as we possibly can to the legions of darkness... Satan will not fear us if we are just good little Christian people who attend church daily and whatnot... We need to wage war on Satan, and show the bastard who is boss.
