The jump from 10 to 11 is quite a big step. The work will be harder and less appealing. Everyone will need help at some stage. You keep taking days off. Look, it was understandable at the start, but now I don't know why. You don't feel like coming to school? Well here's news 99% of the time, I feel like that. I can guarantee you by the morning greeting, Ben is in a much similiar state. My point here is that you are not the only one who feels like this.

You don't think you are getting the correct treatment in regard to school work in the class? Look darl, suck it up. So what if you're having trouble with something and the teacher "doesn't have the time for you". Find something else to do until he/she is finished with whatever he/she is doing and then persist until you get help. They might be the quickest to respond, but they're a damn side faster than McDonald's. You are not the only person in any class, and everyone else needs the help just as much, if not more than you do.

If you don't like the public education system then don't use it. However I don't think the problem is in the system, I think the problem is within you. You're not turning up to school on anywhere near a regular basis, therefore naturally you will be falling behind and care less about it. Solution: come to school. This may seem like a no brainer, and if not? Spoilers: it is.

Now I don't know why you're not coming to school, whether it's because of some inner battle with facing Shane (I am aware you have said on a number of occassions that you are fine being friends, but then there's what he wants and how content you really are, and the fact that it hasn't even been one month and it normally takes a lot longer than that to get over such a relationship...etc etc), OR it's as you've stated you just don't give a shit. Here's news for you.

You are not the first person to go through the public school system. Millions and millions have gone through it before you. It is not that bad. You can leave if you want to leave, but I personally see leaving for TAFE as a step down the ladder. Sure it's an attractive idea, but honey you have the potential to do a lot greater things than any TAFE certificate can get you. You can leave and go to a private school for an "optimised learning environment", but that is like gambling. Paying all that money for a possible (yet higher likely) high outcome.

If you are having a problem with school, hiding away and taking excessive days off is not going to contribute to fixing the cause one iota. You have a problem, you deal with it. Also keep in mind that you are only in the first semester of four. Of course everything's going to seem harder making such a jump as that. Really it comes down to...you don't like school. Fact of life, deal with it.

Ok Eliza. Lyrics. What do you want to sing about? When I write lyrics I usually open up a thesaurus and get more descriptive words. It adds more intelligence. You want descriptive yet simple.

Dude, I already have songs. Lol.
It's just music I don't have.
Which will take too long to do, so I'll probably sing an a cappella version.

Yesterday afternoon (which I forgot to mention due to all the excitement of the song comp):

Elliot, Robert, Patrick and I went to Hungry's. Elliot and I were laughing like, the WHOLE time. Something's up with Robert, he's really down about something. So I gave him a hug and told him that if he needs to have a talk, I'm here, and he was like, "You're like the 3rd person that ACTUALLY cares about me. Sad" and I felt bad, because he's such a little sweetheart, and I don't like when little sweethearts are sad. And then we were walking up to the shop, and a bin fell off the back of a truck, so Elliot chased it. Then Patrick left, so it was just Elliot, Robbie and I.

We got to the computer shop and stood outside for like 10 minutes. Then the really tall guy that does work exp. at the shop comes out, and Elliot's like "You're intimidating because you're taller than I am." Ahaha. And yea... I saw Joel walking, so I was like "IT'S JOEL!" and then Elliot just turns around and SPRINTS towards Joel. And that was the last we saw of him. And then I told Robbie to go home and have a sleep because he looked tired. So he turned around and rode home.

What was really weird yesterday at school is, a couple of people who I didn't know personally, just said hello to me... Oh and that Shannon kid who seems to pop up everywhere unexpectedly said hi too.

The pressure of my music assignment is off... Ms Leonard said that she can't fail us if we don't hand in an assignment, but she has to wait for it to be handed in. So that buys me a bit of time to get this done. I'm not going to procrastinate for masses amounts of time though. It just buys me more time since the due date is Monday.

I'm really happy about the opportunities that I'm getting at the moment with music. Ms Leonard is ready to help me again (since I told her about my situation), I've got the music night to practice for, and the song comp to enter.

In drama, I had been absent, so I didn't know what was going on. I quickly picked up the gist of what we had to do, and worked out a scene with Caitlin and Elliot. I admit, I kinda took over... but hey, we didn't have much time, I just wanted to go with the quickest ideas. I am proud of what we did since I hadn't been there as much as the others. Except I forgot the song I made up! It was funny. Sad Oh well.

I felt like a bit of a detective with the whole MySpace thing. I put together clues, and I came up with what happened. I heard a few names, and came up with the story - Naiker, MySpace, Walters. I had seen the page before during my travels. But I never had him added or anything. I saw the page, said "Ha, cool" and then clicked off. Maybe I should have gone up the office and defended you guys? Guess it'll teach you guys though, eh?

I'm pretty sure I'll be catching the train out to Mum's place this morning. And hopefully I'm leaving on Sunday... I mean, last time when Jack came over... he left on Tuesday! O__O

I hope I meet someone on the train. I don't know... I just feel like meeting someone.

I should probably pack my stuff now... I won't take much, 'cause I never bloody use all the stuff I think I'll need there. Ha. Which reminds me somehow, I need to buy some jumpers. Winter's a comin'! And I find myself getting chilly in the night time. Sad

I will take this opportunity to say to everyone - no matter what problems you're facing right now (I can see some of you aren't okay), you'll be absolutely fine. I know it seems rather hypocritical of me to say that, since right now I'm in a rut of my own. But I have more faith in you guys than I do in myself, so I know you guys will be just fine.

Quick shoutout to Wilkins - I love you bro!
<3

That's all from me. Bye bye.

I finally return from my mother's house!

Saturday I began my 2 hour train ride to Lawnton. I got there about 1pm. I ate a lot, I drank a lot of tea, and I watched a movie! Mum was at a BBQ and when she got home, she was a little bit tipsy - surprise, surprise! She walks up to me, says how skinny I've gotten and gives me massive hugs. I had fun with her during the night as she proceeded to get increasingly more drunk. I sang her a song, and she was crying from it! She said that she didn't know I could sing as good as I did lol.

She told me all about the new house she'll be moving into next week.
I want to live there. And I'm swaying towards actually doing it. Everything will be better for me down there! I need a change... this might be what I need. ANYWAY, I'm not making any decisions yet, so yeah, don't go overreacting and shit.

Mum and I finished off the night singing our heads off to music. We don't sound bad together, not at all. For the first time, I could actually sing as loud as she could. I'm getting better! Razz
I rested my head on her lap while she played with my hair, and she was singing me some really old songs that I hadn't heard in forever. It reminded me how much I really do love my mum. I've been so angry at her for a while because of her moving away, but, her and I really do get along, and I know that my mum would love it so much if I lived with her. It'd make her so happy. And I kinda want to know what it's like to live with her... Spend my last years of school with my mummy.

Today mum was at work, so it was just Jack and I at home. He got the day off for some reason. I was planning on going to the city, but I woke up too late, so I just ate food and played Xbox until about 2pm. I then walked to the station, got some supplies (gum & coke) for the trip home.

And here I am... tired and sick with a cold (or flu or whatever).
Good weekend though. I didn't really want to leave.

it's great though, that sort of connection with a person... me and my mum always sing jesus songs in the car together, which is never that great because i'm never confident until i find a vocal line that suits baritone... i dunno, my dad's always been great for me, and i wouldn't be anywhere as good a person without him, but i really enjoy time with my mum.

Well, I'm sick - again.
Got a cold - again. It's retarded.
That's why I'm away from school. So don't be all like, "wtokajdfgl go to school you idiot".
Fuck up.

Today I'm in a terrible mood. The type of mood where I just don't give a shit who I insult or who hates me.

I hope to go to the city this weekend. I may invite you, I may not. Don't get cut if I don't think of you. LOL. Actually... I might invite a girl... just because I feel like going out and finding boys.

Just a reminder: If I say "Stop that. I don't like it." and I DON'T say "Just joking" after it, it means don't do it again! Yeah.

I finished my English draft. Just gotta get it marked now. Nielsen and Wilkins read it. They said it makes sense and stuff. So that's a good sign.

Dad's in the process of trying to fix my webcam. He's pulled it completely apart. Ew. There's wires everywhere. I'm starting to doubt whether I'll actually get my webcam back. Ha.

Hopefully Dad buys me batteries like I told him to. If he doesn't I'll throw a tantrum like a spoiled little brat. Yep.

That's it from me... wait...

One last thing: I never want to hear anyone say, "You don't care" or "No one cares", because it's bullshit. So shut the fuck up. Kthxbai.

What a happy post. Seems like someone's in a mood. I think avoidance is the best step here.

I have chat logs, Ryan.

And Chris is right. Since I feel like drilling into everyone, the best step would be to probably avoid me.
