Just a reminder that there is NO youth on these school holidays... but there will be the normal 'Thursday night youth' on this week.
If its anything like how youth has been lately, be prepared for a 2 hours slaying-praising-happy tears night. _________________ You used to be like my twin |

hopefully it'll actually be two hours for once, i.e, people will be there at seven instead of seven thirty.
it's really getting to the i've had a gutful stage... i don't see why we should wait. church doesn't wait for me, monday morning prayer meeting doesn't wait for me, so why should thursday night p&w wait for anyone else? |

Ok I know this is not a thing for my youth but I thought I could say what we are having this friday.
Friday 22nd June it is going to be an ALL girls night at UQ Ipswich (building 14). It is a gold coin donation, starts at 7pm, finishes at 9pm (ish). You can bring all the junk food you want to eat during the movie, but sorry I don't know what the movie will be!
If you want to come you are more than welcome.
see ya!!! |

Thanks heaps, I would love to come! But from memory you have youth on a Saturday night wich isn't that great for me. Here is my weekends:
Friday night - youth
Saturday night - church (I run a kids program)
Sunday morning - church, and
Sunday night - the last sunday in each month we have a sunday night service.
The only time i don't do friday nights and saturday nights is on holidays! If I get a chance to come I will. |

Youth marathon on THIS Thursday, starting at one oclock and ending at nine oclock. Bring snacks and whatever, and come prepared for God to show up because He most certainly is coming.
Merry Christmas. |

I'll try and come, 'cause I really need something before I leave to NSW.
I was supposed to go down to NSW on Wednesday, but I am going to try for Friday morning, so that I can go to youth. _________________

Howdy ladies and gents
This Thursday, as most of you already know, is our holiday Praise and Worship Marathon. It will run from 1pm to 9pm, with us buying tea from hungry jacks. For those who don't know what this marathon is all about it is a time we set aside so that we can praise and worship God through music and singing. I, will be there, and so will Geoff, and possibly my brother. I NEED ALL OF YOU, except those over 18, to show your parent/guardian this email and make sure they completely understand what is going to be happening.
Just so the parents understand, we will not be leaving the centre at any stage, EXCEPT, at tea time, probably between 5-6pm, where we will ALL be walking to Hungry Jacks for tea. The children must bring their own money for tea, 10 dollars should cover it, (there should be change). I also recommend that each child brings water to drink since it wil be a long time between when they get to the centre and when they have tea. When we leave for tea we will ALL be leaving, no exceptions, since I can't be in two places at once and I have to lock up the centre. I also recommend that they have lunch before arriving, because I won't be allowing people to leave to wander down to the shop. All the leaders have a Blue Card, also.
If it's raining we may have to change plans somewhat, but I'll let you know.
We wont be able to drop any of you guys home so you're all got to make your own arrangements, no exceptions. No one is allowed to leave half-way through unless they are being picked up by their parents.
Make sure that Eliza, Walters, Stephanie and friend, all get this email, since I don't have their email addresses.
If there's any questions please email me!!
I think I'm starting to get writer's cramp now, so....
Thanks and I hope to see you all there on Thursday
Stephen
There you go, because apparantly Stevie is 'Thoih Illiterate' haha. |

Post subject: Laser Skirmish |
|

Howdy to all my youth minions out there. Just reminding you all that we need the forms for laser skirmish back by this saturday, as well as the money. Its open to all you 'thoih'ians if any are interested and basically, for those who don't know it is laser skirmish, OUTSIDE, in the bush. A must for all you SoF fans out there.
I refer you all to this email from vicki, that most of you have already received.
Remember all money and forms need to be returned to me by Saturday(14/7). It now appears that we don't have enough going to make the 20 mark so we all need to pay $25.00. If we have an influx of people and go over the number the $5.00 will be refunded on the day.
Remember the day starts at 1.45 at the venue at Mt Crosby. Finishes at 4pm. You must get your own lift there and back. Bring a water bottle and food or money to purchase your munchy needs. This will be held at Mt Crosby off Bunya St behind the Tymulam camp grounds. You can invite outsiders as long as we get the forms and money by this weekend and any medical forms. (If they haven't completed one this year) (Check with me to see if they are on file) This is the only youth on this date.
If any of you are interested, or need a form, email me at scuba_steve_rocks1987@hotmail.com, since I have scanned copies of the form on my computer. A medical form is also required for those who didn't hand one in at the start of the year. I think Penny or Josh may have one, but don't hold me to that. If worst comes to worst you can fill one out on the day.
I think that's it
Don't abuse me if something goes wrong with the post cos I'm still thoih illiterate, as you can see by the massive number of posts of have done. |

Tonight (Firday 27th July) my youth has a guest speaker, Craig Wood, coming from Hillsong. He will be at my church (Ipswich Region Community Chruch - Ripley) the whole weekend. If you would like to come and hear what he has to say at our "Youth Weekend", you can come at the following times:
Youth - Friday 27th : 7-9pm
Church - Saturday 28th : 6-7:30pm
Sunday 29th : 9-10:30am
Sunday 29th : 5-6:30pm
You are all more than welcome to attend any of these services. If you need a lift I am fraid that I will not be able to help (sorry), I have to be at all the services really early.
It would be awesome to see you all there, but if not have a wonderful weekend!!! |

Sorry guys but I agree with Elliot, the last one was a miserable disaster. This time will hopefully be better.
FOR THE RECORD if anyone is bringing a console (XBOX, PS2, bongos, guitar hero, etc) they MUST bring their OWN TV. What helped to kill the last sleepover is that some people hogged (probably unknowingly) the TV the entire night and those who weren't interested were bored out of their minds. Sorry but if their isn't a spare TV their isnt going to be any bongos etc. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Also I realised that you guys didnt feel like watching a movie last time, but some people may of. So in that case is there any movies that you would like to watch, provided that they are M 15+ at the maximum. You would obviously have to clear it with us leaders first.
Have a good week and see you all there on Friday at 7.00pm.
BRING PLENTY OF FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

does this mean we get more than four songs for the entire night?
oh good, well then i'd call ten songs reasonable. i reckon we oughta break it into two sessions, with the second session not being compulsory, as long as you're not noisy, or in a different room being not very noisy. |
