So Robbie and I have been throwing ideas around for a bike race after my little adventure down Penny's hill. So we came up with this, rules are pretty much finalised, I will update if anything changes. Anyone is welcome to join, the more the merrier.

Location
Start Line is at Vision. From there, there is no specific route, find your way to Shane's house and Penny's house (Can we Penny? Please?) and pick up the not yet defined item of choice. The finish line is at my house.

Items
It's a point to point race, so items are needed. Suggestions are welcome, but I guess it would be best that the people at the houses pick the item, so that the competitors don't know what it is to prevent cheating. Small, light items are preferred, small enough to fit in a backpack.

Method of travel
There are to be no motorised forms of travel! This started as a bike race, but if there's enough interest from people who don't have bikes, we may have a group on foot as well.

You may follow any route you wish, so you can go bush, follow back streets, whatever, it's your choice, just get there first with only using your legs.

Rules
OBEY THE LAW. I don't want cops DQing anyone because they were stupid. This includes running red lights.
NO MOTORS. Already mentioned but still a rule.

Time and date
1st of September, 11am race start.

Disclaimer
Please get permission from your parents as well, this is NOT a youth event and I will not be held liable if anyone is hurt. You're responsible for your own actions while this race is in progress.

Think the youth clue hunt, but on a bigger scale and more individual. Everyone is welcome to join, reply here if you're interested, we'll be glad to have you.

Sure you can use my house. Confused
Does this mean I have to get out of my pyjamas?

i'm in, except i don't really have a helmet or a decent bike.

i've got good legs and lungs though, and i run pretty efficiently. on a pushbike i'd put a trip like that at about 90 minutes.
