This is post no.3000 in the music section!

Anyways, looking at a long term thing as opposed to a 'today' type of thing, what are some of your favourite songs, favourite album and favourite artist?

For artist its gotta be the arctic monkeys for me, two brilliant albums with not a bad song on either. For album its the new normal by COG, from real life to my enemy to Doors its just brilliance on a disk. Favourite song its gonna be Just tonight... by Jimmy eat world. Dunno why, I just love it.

Hopefully you guys have some more sufficent analysis then me, I'm actually curious about what everyons favourites ever are =]

Favourite band *no brainer*= Mortification

Bold, extreme, brutal, Christian. The music is diverse. From thrash in Break the Curse, to thrash/death in Mortification, to some of the brutalest stuff ever in Scrolls of the Megilloth, back to their roots in Bloodworld, groovy death metal in Primitive Rythmn Machine, then to a thrash era in Hammer of God, EnVision Evangeline, Triumph of Mercy (made while Steve was supposed to be dead), to some prog metal in Silver Cord is Severed, back to a thrashy death metal in Relentless, Brain Cleaner and Erasing The Goblin. They pretty much started a world wide movement and a national death metal scene with one album. Steve is a huge inspiration for me, both musically, lyrically and spiritually... Never holds back.

Favourite album = Living Sacrifice: Inhabit
Mortification: Scrolls of the Megilloth

Inhabit got me in to metal at 11. Still it is a regular play in my list. Scrolls, well...brutal!
