Well firstly, i forgive you...i really dont care...
And i just have trouble believing that millions of people around the world worship different gods and follow different religions, and devote their lives to their god and religion... yet you say they dont feel their God is with them?
Then why do those people continue, why dont they just switch to Christianity if everyone knows its so true?

Good question, I don't really know myself! What I do know is there is a lot of documented evidences and a lot of examples of devout muslims converting to Christianity, maybe they experience something they believe is God's presence but is just on a lower scale.
And there is a problem with your story about how God cannot be made up Matt. I know he wasn't, but I used to think (like when I was three) that people made up the bible and God so that everyone would be good, they could've created restrictions to make the world a better place, just like we have the legal system, but better because people would believe in it. I know I was wrong now though, gimme a break though, I was just a kid  |

Did you notice...
That the gift horse and monkeywithaknife are both animals, but ah, only one can be seen at a zoo, can you tell which one? *looks at screen* And not only that but while both animals, they both come 'bearing' something... A knife and a gift... Both are items that are sold at door to door salesmen.. And whats the religion that annoys us by going door to door? Mormons!
So animalistic mormons we're dealing with here.... RELIGION WAREWOLVES!!!!!!!

Again, people are arguing over something they have never felt. Clairey have you experienced anything to do with God? .....
If not, then how can you say it's not real if you have never seen or felt it.. It sounds kind of stupid to me?

Why would i have experienced anything to do with God? Im not Christian 
Even when i went to Brigo, i actually tried to get into the whole catholic thing... seeing as we prayed every morning and afternoon, i thought i may as well enjoy it... but i never felt anything... at least i can say I've tried, and i may try again some time...

Gosh... we didn't pray all the time...and they never made out like we had to....
And anyway, you're all ignoring the actual purpose of my post...that i have tried religions, but they dont work for me.
I tried Christianity in primary school as well...it was never anything special to me either. It was fun though, we used to get lollies.

I did take it seriously... maybe not so much in primary school, i was never disprespectful though - i listenned a lot actually...
And in grade 9...i dunno... maybe some people cant connect with God (if he exists)...and maybe I'm one of them...
You can't criticise me for trying, and i did actually try... yes, i took it seriously, paid attention...all that jazz...
And i have no idea where you got the 'hating it' from, but settle down...i dont hate any religion...except when it goes too far...

I know what you mean Claire.. I personally dont get all emotional and chuck a seizure all the time because God touches me all the time.. Its not like that. He will reveal himself as much as he sees fit. It it is to make a huge whale fall from the sky. Or Him walking down the street and wanting to play ball. Or what ever. He will do what HE! sees fit. Not what the person wants. lol

Not fully understood...but the foundations can be put down for us to continue our learning... and by grade 7 i wasn't convinced, so i gave up for awhile...
An example is the Dalai Lama...he begins his training basically from birth... I doubt he understood Nirvana at the age of 8...but it was a start wasn't it? Noone expected him to understand it fully... duh.
